Classroom:Proctor was named Third Team ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America and Atlantic 10 All-Academic Team in 2006 and 2007. She is working towards a double Major in Journalism and English with a minor in Spanish. Proctor currently writes for a couple of small music magazines, but she has future aspirations of writing for the New Yorker, Wired, or Rolling Stone magazines. She would eventually like to work as a socially conscious entrepreneur in the world of publications and music. Proctor plans on attending graduate school at either Colombia University, Brown University, NYU, or Northwestern. She boasts a 3.7 GPA, and her expected graduation date is May of 2008.
Character:Proctor is a co-captain of the 2008 UMass squad after starting every game since her freshman year. Her teammates and coaching staff label her as smart, Intelligent, calm, collective, and “one of the most consistent players offensively and defensively this school has every seen.”
