Classroom:Tiffany is enrolled in the bachelor's/master's dual program for emotional disturbances. She has maintained a 3.0 or higher GPA throughout her four years at Florida State and was named to the Dean's List (3.5 and higher). A 2007 Atlantic Coast Conference Honor Roll member, Tiffany hopes to pursue a career in either high school counseling or with a women's ministry.
Character:One of five seniors on the 2008 FSU softball team, Tiffany is also a co-captain this year. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience which she shares with her new and old teammates. Her teammates and head coach JoAnne Graf looked to Tiffany during her sophomore season to lead the team as she was the only fully healthy pitcher the Seminoles had in 2006. From that time, Tiffany has been looked upon by her peers for guidance and support during difficult times in their lives. Tiffany knows about overcoming obstacles as she entered her Seminole career with an injury that she battled through to become the starting pitcher in 2006.
Competition:In just three seasons at Florida State, Tiffany has topped the all-time record books for saves with eight following the 2007 season. She also ranks No. 4 with 131 appearances and No. 6 in both strikeouts with 695 and innings pitched with 699. In 2007 alone, Tiffany was tied for second in the Atlantic Coast Conference with three saves that season. She was also ranked last year in the ACC wit 235 strikeouts (fourth), third in shutouts with seven, fifth with 211 innings pitched, tied for fourth after 42 appearances and fifth for her 20 complete games.
